Amy began practicing family law in 2006 and specializes in child custody and adoption. She has extensive experience litigating parental rights, representing both public and private agencies, parents and juveniles. Her background also includes divorce, conservatorships, child support, and juvenile defense. She has also practiced insurance defense, including general liability, workers' compensation, and healthcare liability. She is admitted to U.S. District Courts, in the Eastern District in Tennessee and the Northern District in Texas.
Before going to law school, Amy was a public relations executive in Silicon Valley, and worked for NBC News in London while pursuing her graduate degree in Foreign Affairs.
