Kristi is a Tennessee native having grown up in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and thereafter where she also earned her master’s degree in public administration. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor as a member of the charter class at Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee.
After law school, Kristi worked for a law firm in Sevierville, Tennessee, where she practiced family law and criminal defense. She also assisted the firm’s partners with personal injury cases and estate planning matters. Prior to working for Peterson White, Kristi worked at MIJS in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she practiced almost exclusively in workers’ compensation insurance defense and handled the firm’s estate planning matters.
Kristi is married to her husband, Ryan, and they have one son. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, hiking in the Smoky Mountains where she grew up, and exploring new activities and adventures with her family.
